The 2008 CD Recording "Bridging the Gap 2...", like the first album, is a compilation of cutting edge Hip-Hop, Power Ballads, and Instrumental tracks, and was made approximately a year after the completion of the first album, "Bridging the Gap 1."

The "...Gap 2"  recording was the culminating event of a 15-month long program, and was digitally created, performed and recorded by young New York City High School Students with  the encouragement, guidance and limited participation of a large number of talented professionals, including singers, musicians, recording engineers, certified music teachers, teaching artists and some very, very talented teenagers and young adults from 79M, The Doctor Horan School in East Harlem , NY and 752Q the Queens School for Career Development,  in South Jamaica, NY.

While the two albums are complementary and not meant to be compared , the size, scope, talent and technical virtuousity of the music product created for the second album clearly reveals the progressive arc that both students and teachers took on their year-long teaching and learning journey.

The $150,000 project was first conceived by InCollaboration's Executive Director Andrew Salgado and realized in large part by the dedicated efforts and extraordinary talents of Artistic Director Hank Wagner.
